Lenovo Chromebook c330 Review- Is it worth buying in 2021?

Lenovo Chromebook C330 2-in-1 Laptop Review (2021)

Lenovo Chromebooks always outperform their competitors at that price range.

Lenovo Chromebook C330 is one of the bestselling in its line offering great endurance and performance at a budget price point.

Is Lenovo Chromebook c330 worth buying in 2021? is Lenovo Chromebook c330 still an option for Chrome OS lovers?

find out all of your answers in our detailed review of Lenovo Chromebook c330 below.

First, let's take a look at the specs, the Lenovo Chromebook c330 has an 11.6 inches HD (1366x768) IPS display, Mediatek MT8173C Chipset, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 64GB eMMc internal storage, and Chrome OS.

Why Trust Us:
All of our reviews are based on honest real-time testing and market research. We only recommend products that are worth buying for the prices.

DESIGN:

Lenovo doesn't spend a lot of money on boxes okay you're not gonna get fancy packaging with it but

When you open the box, the first thing you're going to pull out of the box is a nice long power cord with a small power brick.

Then there is our Chromebook, laying with the manual which nobody reads.

Now let's have a look at the construction of Lenovo Chromebook c330 we were really surprised at how solid this 2.6-pound laptop is.

It measures eleven point four inches (11.4'')  and eight point four eight inches ( 8.48'') in depth.

As far as the thickness is concerned Lenovo Chromebook c330 is actually pretty thin and lightweight.

KEYBOARD AND TRACKPAD:

The keyboard and trackpad of Chromebook c330 are very usable.

There is nice keyboard spacing here not backlit though, but it does have a very comfortable design.

We have seen on many other Chromebooks that there's a very consistent keyboard experience

Because Google tells the manufacturers how to put these keyboards together for better user experience.

The bright trackpad is very responsive and functions really well, there isn't any issue regarding c330's trackpad.

PORTS:

On the left side, you will find a  USB C port used for charging and data transfer as well, you have an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port.

Last you have a full-size SD card slot, that's excellent for many users that they are getting that kind of port selection.

On the right side of the Lenovo Chromebook c330, you got a combo audio port, your volume up down power, and the last little Kensington lock.

With that been said have a look at the internal review of Lenovo Chromebook c330.

Internal Review Of Lenovo Chromebook C330 | Display, Performance, and More

DISPLAY:

Lenovo Chromebook features an IPS display which is something we don't always see at this price point.

The display quality is bright and crisp with very good viewing angles but we wish they had an option to get HD+.

One cherry on the top is that c330 is 2-in-1, you also get some touch functionality too.

Chrome OS has been getting friendlier and friendlier for touch input as they continue developing it.

It's nice to get this display at this price point.

PROCESSOR, RAM, AND ROM:

Lenovo Chromebook c330 has a Mediatek MT8173C with a Quad-core CPU, with two cores running at 2.1 gigahertz and then two cores running at 1.7 gigahertz.

You're also getting four gigabytes of ddr3 RAM and 64 gigs of storage.

We were really impressed by the performance of this budget laptop.

However, we couldn't run the benchmark scores because of its incompatibility with the major of them.

Overall the performance is appreciable.

WEB PERFORMANCE:

We ran a 12 minutes video on 1080p the Chromebook was playing the video on 60Fps we got a couple of dropped frames.

when we were transitioning in between scenes, the laptop was struggling slightly on some of the higher-end videos.

You'd probably see similar drop-offs on 4k files if you're playing them back.

But generally, we think it should be a pretty good web browsing experience.

Lenovo Chromebook c330 also won here because of its quick, responsive, and noticeably faster processor than some of the low-end chips that we sometimes see in Chromebooks at similar price points.

GAMING PERFORMANCE:

Now the gaming performance, the Lenovo Chromebook can not perform better than other laptops because Chromebooks are not made for gaming.

but we tested many games for light gaming fans,  here is the list of games we played on c330

  • PUBG mobile
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
  • Dota Underlords (Android)
  • Asphalt 8
  • Lords Mobile
  • Call Of Duty Mobile

Pubg Mobile is a competitive online multiplayer game that many laptops failed to run smoothly.

To our surprise, Pubg Mobile ran perfectly smooth on Lenovo Chromebook c330.

Just run the game PUBG on normal settings for maximum Fps.

Asphalt 8 is another heavy game of android, it ran well without any lag on Lenovo Chromebook c330.

One more cherry on the top is that you can play Asphalt 8 with Chromebook's keyboard for a better experience.

Like Pubg Call of Duty Mobile ran giving 40 to 50 Fps easily on low settings

However, if you will increase the graphics quality fps will drop to 30 35.

BATTERY LIFE:

The battery life of Lenovo Chromebook c330 is anywhere from 8 to 10 hours depending on what you're doing with it.

It will get more on the 10-hour side if you are doing basic web browsing.

If you're using heavy Android apps and that sort of thing you'll probably be looking at more around 8 hours of overall battery life.

CHROME OS:

Chrome OS never fails to amaze its users with constant security and performance updates.

Chrome OS runs fairly snappy. One thing most of the people look for is Office 365, and it is available on Lenovo Chromebook C330.

Not only the office 365 but you can also use google stuff like google sheets, drive, and of course the google play store.

In short, there's everything you need to be productive.

Conclusion

Lenovo Chromebook c330 is a solid machine,  the build quality is excellent with no flex on the screen. The overall performance is appreciable,  a major thumbs up to Lenovo for this.

The things that could be better was screen resolution, bezels, and sound quality.

Lenovo Chromebook c330 has a large bezel screen with good but not great resolution.

The 2-watt speakers on the bottom aren't gonna sound all that great you need headphones with it and listen to music etc.

Due to its productivity, user experience, and performance, the Lenovo Chromebook c330 is still hard to beat.

That's why we recommend this laptop to small businesses or entrepreneurs.
